How it works
- 01 Print the code. Stick it on the door. It is a QR that never changes, even if we change the URL behind it.
- 02 They scan it. A web page opens. They type a name and tap once. No app, no account.
- 03 You see them. A live list of names and how long each has waited. Tap a name to clear it.
Questions
Does this schedule jobs or write estimates?
No. Acorn covers arrivals only. Your shop management software keeps doing the rest.
Can customers check in before hours?
They can scan whenever they are there. Early drop-offs appear on the list with the time they actually arrived.
Do I need Wi-Fi in the bay?
Only a working connection on whatever device shows the list. The customer uses their own phone and data.
Can I get a text instead of watching a screen?
Yes. Enter your mobile number and staff alerts go out when someone checks in, within a free monthly allowance.
What if the QR gets dirty or torn?
Print another. The code points at a redirect we control, so a reprint keeps working and old prints keep working too.
