AcornCheckIn is a product of PerfSpot LLC. By using it you agree to these terms.

The service

We provide a visitor check-in tool: a public check-in page, a staff list page, a printable QR code, and optional SMS notifications. The free tier includes a capped monthly SMS allotment; the live list itself is not capped.

SMS notifications

SMS is optional and opt-in. If you provide your number and consent, AcornCheckIn sends you transactional text messages about your check-in: a confirmation, a "you're up" notice, and, where a business has it enabled, one review request afterward. No marketing. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for what your visitors are told about check-in data at your business, for keeping your staff list link private, and for having the right to text any phone numbers you add.

Fair use

Don't use the service to harass, spam, or collect data you're not entitled to. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform or degrade it for others.

Warranty

The service is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it fast and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Our liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PerfSpot LLC and its operators are not liable for any damages, losses, missed payments, data loss, or other consequences arising from your use of the service. You use AcornCheckIn at your own risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Assignment

We may transfer or assign these terms and our rights and obligations under them, at any time, to any affiliate, acquirer, or successor. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our written consent.
