About Acorn Check In

Acorn Check In does one job: it tells you when someone shows up. A visitor scans the code on your door, types their name, and taps a button. Everyone on your team sees that name on one shared list, with how long they have been waiting, and taps it once they have been helped.

We built it because the other ways to get that were a whole industry suite (salon software, clinic software, shop software) or a queue system priced for a chain. A barbershop with three chairs needs neither. It needs to know someone is standing by the door. So the product stops there: no appointment booking, no queue analytics, no app for your visitors to install, no accounts for your staff.

Check-ins, the live list, and the printed QR code are free, with no cap. Text alerts to your team are included, 50 a month per location. Visitor names are deleted after 30 days. The details are in the FAQ.

Acorn Check In is made by a small, independent team that builds simple, honestly priced tools for people running lean. Each one stands on its own, with its own site and its own account. There is no suite to sign up for. If something is missing, tell us; a real person reads every message.
